Ski tour to Combatseline

View from track to Combatseline of the mountains behind Siviez up to Verbier After a great day enjoying the powder off Greppon we decided to skin up to Combatseline from Siviez and then decide what to do depending of how fit we felt. Pleasantly surprised at how nice a skin it was. Good steady gradient so we could get into a rhythm and lovely views across to the other side of the valley and over to the Diabloret Range. Fresh tracks on Grepon

View across towards Grepon, can just see the poma we use Today we were all set for a day downhill skiing in Verbier, after an early morning coffee in Siviez well ahead of the resort opening (to avoid parking congestion) we were lined up for the first lift only to find we didn’t have enough credits on our lift pass. Valentines Day treat – Obergoms

View from bedroom window over Niederwald  We do not normally celebrate Valentines Day, however this year decided to make an exception as it was forecast to rain in Nendaz tomorrow so we planned a last minute overnight trip up to Obergoms for a couple of days XC beasting.
