Picture of me with my old fat boy touring skis at the top of Veysonnaz (liked the photo)
Fresh snow, time to try out my new Momentum touring skis which I bought last year but have only skied on one run (after skinning up Tracouet) since purchasing them. They are very light, fast easy to turn and totally different from my other skis, great for the up but was not sure about the down.

Ended up loving them. As it was misty and snowing we decided to spend the day round Tracouet where the trees help provide definition in poor visibility. Found great fresh snow in the trees, not that heavily skied. The snow was light and we both had great fun.

No sarnies on the mountain today and instead we decided on a proper lunch as a treat. Went to Bistro les Cleves for morning coffee and chocolate cake and decided on a return visit for lunch as the cake was so good! Pizza was excellent, shame it is bit too far to walk for dinner in the winter.
